Covid-19 and 20-21 Preparedness

For many schools, the Covid-19 pandemic was a shock to the educational system when it hit earlier this year.  Stay at home orders were implemented, doors were closed, and districts across the country scrambled to provide last-minute online education - but not iForward. 

With 14 years of experience, iForward was one of the first online high schools in the state of Wisconsin.  This meant that there was no frantic dash to implement online education for our students and no drop in the quality of learning our students received - we had been preparing for this for over a decade.  For our students and families, it was "education as usual".  Even more importantly, our preparedness allowed us to focus on supplying the additional support and empathy that many of our students needed as they faced the new stresses and worries brought on by the pandemic.

As we look to 2020-21, our teachers and staff are confident that we will have a completely normal year.  No additional closures, no partial openings, no last-minute adjustments for parents to make - only the highest quality online education anywhere in Wisconsin.
